Summer Fashion Week - Saturday!

So, I was a bad fashion week hostess and didn't get around to taking pictures of my outfit until later when my husband got home and we were in the midst of dinner/playtime/bedtimes for the kids.

I asked Chris to snap my picture while I was cooking dinner, so here's what you get! haha.

A pretty basic outfit for today...

White ruffle sleeve tank top: thrifted
Black skinny pants- Ross
Apron- thirfted
Mutilated fascinator (AGAIN)- Ross
necklaces- vintage

The vintagey tin signs above my stove are form when Chris and I got married. We had vintage tin signs and bowl of citrus fruit on each table with white flowers and tea lights.

So pretty...

Pardon my lack of real outfit posting today... I guess "real life" got in the way! hehe.

Speaking of "real life", here they are:

ezra james, age 5.5

myer elliot, age 1.5

I am so sad that tomorrow is the last day!! Boo to the Hoooooo!

Wow, I wish I was in your kitchen right now--talk about homey vibe. From the apron to the signs to the teapot. Sigh-worthy.

And P.S. your kids are shoot-dang handsome.

Yes... Not only did I inspire you headband... but I inspired you to wear it TWO DAYS IN A ROW! Yeah for ruts! (I ended up wearing mine again! ... see Saturdays post :)

You are to stinking cute. And so are your boys... Myer and Hank are the same age! Love the apron- I have a very similar one I inherited from my grandmother. And your necklace is so similar to Noelles! Love them both. (http://babyinbroad.blogspot.com/2010/07/summer-fashion-friday.html)

I love the apron and your kitchen. The yellow teapot is amazing. I love tin signs and the one with the apples is so special, using those for a wedding is the best idea ever.

And both boys can obviously pose like mommy :-)

I love so many things about this post! I love seeing you "in real life" activity. I love kitchens. I feel like that is where real "ordinary" life happens.

I love your kitchen signs! They are so inviting. I may have to be on the look out for some of these as my kitchen needs some extra inspiration right now. (and of course, the apron is SO cute)

I also love that Meyer is pants-less. My younger son is often found pants-less, in fact, we call him "the pants-less wonder."

Lastly, I love that you actually have and wear some "basic outfits" (though you still look adorable, I love the tank ruffles).

Thanks for being real!

So cute! I LOVE the signs! I have them all over my laundry room! I can relate to real life, I wasn't even able to take pictures. Sometimes I wish I could just wear fun stuff to work, but it doesn't always seem appropriate. Your kiddies are adorable, and love the headband!

Yay, owl necklace! WIN!

I love your apron (and your kitchen). I feel the sudden need to post pictures of my apron now.

I love "real life" fashion. And pictures of "real life" moments: cooking dinner, kids playing on the floor, this little number. Good stuff.

Um... Emery.... WE HAVE THE EXACT SAME BIRTHDAY! Crazy. Just one more weird way to know/not actually know you.
