Goals Met, Goals Set.

Guten Morgen!

Today I am celebrating a mini-victory because I stepped on a scale this morning and discovered that I am back to my pre-preggo weight! I know this is nothing to stop the presses over, and probably not even the blog over, but I was excited and in need of the little boost of spirits. I've been feeling so BLAH lately!

I put on my sassypants... uh... dress, snapped some pics, and plan to commemorate the occasion with gobs of frozen yogurt later. nom nom.

In unrelated news, Chris and I have recently committed to paying off all of our debt in the next couple of years, which is super exciting!! It's going to take lots of dedication and sacrifice, but I know we will never regret a single moment of it in the long run!

I do a LOT better with sticking to long distance goals when I have a more tangible and visual goal set up alongside of it, so I have also decided that I am going to grow my hair while we chip away at our debt. I know this will help me in my commitment to both daunting tasks- one will give me motivation for the other and vice versa. (I've been missing my long locks lately!)

I've got my eyes on the finish line:

(me and my long lost locks, circa 2008)

Anywho...

Here's to new and exciting beginnings!! :)

Aw! Congrats to your weightloss Mama! And good luck on paying off the debts. My hubs and I have been debt free besides one car payment for almost 2 years now, and it's such a great feeling. That's a pretty genius idea to grow your hair out along with paying down the debt! I'm working on growing mine out as well! :)

I don't know, I think postpartum weight-loss is totally worth blogging about (and celebrating!). In any case, you look fantastic! I love the pretty floral print.

Good luck paying down the debt. It can be a huge undertaking, but it feels so freeing!

Losing all the baby weight is certainly something to let us celebrate along with you - congratulations! I had babe #2 nine weeks ago and still haven't lost all the weight from babe #1 (help!)

Congratulations also on committing to becoming debt-free. That is an awesome goal.

Girl...have fun with the debt payoff...I'm smack dab in the middle of my debt snowball (Dave Ramsey would be proud)...there's a tiiiinnnnyyyy light at the end of the tunnel...but it's there! I'll have all but the student loans paid off by Nov of next year!!! YAY!! Let's start planning our "Got out of debt" party!

Wow that's amazing. I still have 1st 7lbs to go! I put on a lot though, eating way too much!

I find myself in a similar boat to you a lot and love reading your blog to know I'm not alone. The whole having a baby girl thing, parenting, food thing. I am no where near as stylish as your little toe though!

You look awesome! I know how amazing that feels!

...not that I'm there yet, but I vaguely remember the feeling from the first time, haha

post-partum weight is so hard. I know, I'm still pregnant with the baby weight, long after I gave birth the the baby.

Congrats! (Though, if I were a betting woman, I'd bet that you probably didn't have much to lose since you appear to have that naturally long and lean physique that pears like me dream of!)

Good luck on the debt paydown too. Hubby and I are on that path as well.
